Beauty Tidbit: Save Overplucked Brows!

Ahh what we do for beautiful brows! We've all done it, we're plucking away to get that perfect shape and oops we went a little too far. This has happened to me a few times, my tweezers just keep going and going! But don't worry it's not the end of the world because these eyebrow-saving tips are right below!

Tips:
  1. Think realistically: Brows take about 4-6 weeks to grow back, but it's different for everyone some eyebrows will start growing back a few days to a week after over-tweezing!
  2. Diet: It's all about diet, your hair grows quicker when you have a healthy diet so the same applies for eyebrows. Just eat healthy and if you can, take some hair, nail, & skin supplements that help the growth process also. I also heard that bananas help your hair grow fast, maybe this applies to eyebrows as well? Not sure, so if anyone tries it let me know!
  3. Fill it in with an eyebrow pencil: An eyebrow pencil is your new best friend! It will temporarily fill in those sparse and over-tweezed areas while you are waiting for your brows to grow back. Make sure to choose a shade one to two shades lighter than your actual hair colour.
  4. Toothbrush and Vaseline: When I overtweezed my eyebrow and was desperate I came upon this trick on the internet. I do it every night and it really does help! Unfortunately you are not going to get your brows back after one night of doing this but after a week you will start seeing an improvement. Basically what you need is a clean toothbrush (a separate one from the one you use to brush your teeth), rub it in circular motions on the parts of your brows you want to grow. This is going to help with blood circulation which will enable growth. Then apply vaseline onto the areas you want to grow. Vaseline is used in order to provide moisture and helps growth.
I hope these tips have helped and just remember think positive and don't think about your eyebrow dillemma and they will grow back faster than you think!
